Former officer awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia

Formerly Flying Officer (AAFC) Carroll, Bob was an officer of 314 Squadron, and then the founding Commanding Officer of 338 Squadron. Captain (AAC) Carroll OAM is now a member of Headquarters New South Wales Australian Army Cadet Corps Brigade.

Bob was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in today's Australia Day 2015 Honours List, "For service to youth, particularly through cadet and juvenile justice organisations."

Our members have been involved in 48 activities during the year, in addition to 39 weekly parade nights, finishing with our social activity at Hangdog Climbing Gym last Monday.

Air Experience Flight

Cadets and staff of 314, 330 and 338 Squadrons joined a 37 Squadron C-130J Hercules for an air experience flight on 29 Nov 14. For many cadets and one of our staff, it was their first flight in a service aircraft - and for one cadet, it was his first flight ever! 2014 Rise and Shine Annual Awards Presentation

Wings Over Illawarra 2014

Seven cadets and two staff represented 314 Squadron at the Wings Over Illawarra airshow at Illawarra Regional Airport on 04 May 14. Some of them were spotted with the HARS F-111.
